Chat away while playing fortnite (or doing other stuff with your iphone or ipad.) this is especially useful if you're cross-playing alongside xbox one or pc players since the app works seamlessly. By doing this i get the sounds from my ps4 onto my laptop while using my headset on the pc. then just run the game and join one of your friends who are eligible for cross-platform play. that way, you will get the voice chat from ps4, and the game sounds from your laptop at the same time.. Ps4 and pc players continue to report that cross play between the two platforms still works for fortnite battle royale. they can be added to the party complete with voice chat as well.
